Hello!
In the Kingfishers we have 8 students who are in both year 5 and year 6.
Our teacher is Emma and are teaching assistants are Angela, Debbie M and Julie and our welfare is Debbie B.
We love to learn in the Kingfishers and this half term our theme is the Ancient Egyptians. We are learning all about life as a pharaoh, the mummification process writing using hieroglyphics and even building pyramids and our own mummies. During our Literacy lessons we are learning about poetry and rhyme. In Design and Technology we are making bread.

We have been making Anglo Saxon shields in our Design and Technology lessons
The Kingfishers have been making shoeboxes for the Christmas Shoebox Appeal. A big thank you to all the children and parents who have sent items in and we hope the children who recieve them have a wonderful Christmas.
