General Information
We ask parents and carers to return the home / school diary each day, as this will enable the class teacher to provide comments and information about your child’s day in school. If there are particular things you wish to be informed about, please speak with me.
Individual Education Plan(IEP’s)
This plan sets out educational targets that your child is working on for the term. There is a section in the plan which provides parents and carers with activities or tasks you can do at home to support your child’s learning. Plans are updated each term and sent home.

Spring Term 2017
Happy New Year.
We hope that you all had a very Happy Christmas.
We have lots of new and exciting things to look forward to this term, starting with a visit from the library service and our own class performance of Cinderella, to bring a close to the pantomime season, Wednesday 25th Jan 2017 at 2.00pm.
This activity was a science experiment which involved the whole class to work as a team. The students used different materials to cover the water balloon so that it wouldn’t bust when dropped.
During this session, the students explored the different smells, tastes and textures of all of the ingredients. They made choices between which tools would be needed and also explored the sounds of the different tools being used.
The focus of this session was making choices of which materials and tools the students may need.
When making their Easter bonnets, the students explored and used lots of different art materials. They then took part in the parade as a whole class during the assembly in front of the whole school.
During our box book sessions the students are working on anticipating the sequence in the stories, participating as a whole group and listening and comprehension.
The students have been learning about directional language and so Ben and Bethany enjoyed going forward and backward on the swing. The students also enjoyed going up and down on the apparatus and exploring different textures, like the sand.
