This Terms Artist of the Month is inspired by artist;

Samuel John Peploe

As it was Burns night this week, we will be learning about Scottish Artist Samuel John People, a Scottish Post-Impressionist painter, noted for his still life works and for being one of the group of four painters that became known as the Scottish Colourists.

 

Can you produce a piece of artwork inspired by this artist?

Remember to include your name and class by Wednesday 10th February at 12.00pm. 

The Artist of the Month will be announced at the end of term and all entries will be exhibited on the school website!!!

 

Theme

Our Theme this week is Chinese New year. It is on Friday the 12th February and it is the year of the Ox. Explore the resources above. 

 

It is also valentines Day on the Sunday the 14th of February, you could make a card or do something nice for a family or friend to show that you love them.
