At Rowan Park School we take online safety very seriously.
All staff have annual training in how to keep pupils and staff safe on line. The last training was September 2019.
There is also annual online safety training for parents and regular update are sent to parents via the newsletters and website.
Pupils are taught about on line safety through the computing curriculum see Curriculum subjects Computing for more details.
Pupils are also taught how to be safe online during PSHE lessons.
If you have any concerns on how to install Parent safety settings at home please contact school who can help you.
Staff have annual training in the Prevent agenda and school will refer any pupils who they consider at risk from using sites that may cause them harm.
Pupils are not allowed to use mobile phones in school. If they bring them into school they are to be handed in to a member of staff on arrival and are kept until school finishes.
