What an amazing time our pupils have had at the Bendrigg Trust Residential!
Jam packed days with some amazing activities!
Day 1 -
We arrived just in time for lunch and met our instructors who would be here to help us throughout our visit! Once settled and our beds were made we went for a walk in the woods. We had to carry wood to fuel our fire where we sat for hot chocolate and got ready to toast some marshmellows. Archery followed with some super sportsman ship and a little go of the rope course and slides! For tea we enjoyed Pizza and Chips to make sure we had enough energy for the Indoor caving... this was so much fun expecially when we had to find all the hidden treasure!
Day 2 -
We all slept really well surprisingly and were up, dressed and ready for our breakfast served at 8.30am. We enjoyed sausage, beans and toast which fueled us for our morning activities!
We encountered the climbing wall and absailing which we all thoroughly enjoyed. After lunch we zip wired, enjoyed the sensory swing and the tube slide! As it was now going dark it was scary and so much fun! We ate our well deserved roast dinners and headed down to the sports hall for a disco and a chill in the sensory room! A well deserved rest I think in preparation for our journey home tomorrow!
