Happy Hedgehogs

Welcome to Hedgehogs!

We are the Hedgehogs class in Primary, we have 8 pupils aged between 5 and 8.

We have been doing all sorts of exciting activities since September; exploring new materials and trying really hard to learn new things.  We recently enjoyed making hedgehog pictures with crunchy leaves - you can see a picture of them below!

Have you seen the Kids’ Zone? Play games and visit some cool websites. You can vote for your favourites.

Hedgehogs had a day out, seeing lots of animals and having a run around in the sunshine...

Today we completed LAP THE RAP to raise money for the school prom and the Oliver King Foundation. We are still accepting donations!

Primary Olympics - 22 June 2016

Look at some of the exciting things we have been doing in May and June...

We have been reading The Little Red Hen. We made some bread from yogurt and oats. Yum?!

We have enjoyed the introduction to our new theme - "Oh we do like to live by the seaside"

Have a look at us exploring objects in our Phonics lessons. Can you guess which sounds we were learning?

We explored flour and flipped pancakes on Shrove Tuesday

Happy New Year! Hedgehogs have made a great start to the term and have been working really hard at their targets and settling back in.

The Hedgehogs have enjoyed an abundance of Christmas related activities in the last few weeks and would now like to wish you a Merry Christmas!

The Hedgehogs had lots of fun at the Christmas party with Deyes High School.

Autumn Hedgehogs

Enterprise - we sold bottles of "Melted Snowman" at the Christmas fair. Here are our Hedgehogs making the labels for the bottles.

Weather Song For Kids: The Sun Comes Up!

We use this song in class each day as part of our morning routine. The pupils love joining in with the actions!
