Welcome to the summer term.

An exciting and action packed term at Rowan Park School.

Over the summer term we have participated in Olympics Sports Day, European Food Market to celebrate the European football tournament.

Class Scafell have also enjoyed visits to Croxteth Hall Park and the Cafe at Tesco.

We have participated in shopping trips at Tesco.

New school year, new name, new classroom.

With the start of the new school year, class Scafell moved into a new classroom.

The pupils are enjoying the extra working space that the room offers and the immediate access to the outdoor area and sensory garden.

PE with students from South Sefton 6th form College

Class Scafell enjoy weekly links with students from South Sefton 6th Form College.

The College students work alongside class Scafell on PE and sporting activities. So far this term we have enjoyed parachute games, skittles and games of Boccia.

Links with Sefton Library Service

Scafell enjoy links with Sefton library service. So far this year we have enjoyed a visit, to class, from Karen the librarian, who shared sensory stories with us.

We also invited some of our friends from around the school to join us on a visit to the library for more story-telling!

Exploring Foreign Cultures- India
